Defining your Internet Strategy is the single most important piece of the online puzzle. The term is used all the time these days. I hear it at marketing events, trade shows, lunch meetings, on airplanes and in coffee shops around the world. We see it in advertising campaigns throughout the web and on TV, but what we see and hear little of, is just what strategy really is and the process that’s used in creating a strong internet strategy, be it design, marketing, branding or whatever.
I thought I’d create a blog post dedicated to the topic where anyone can provide input on the topic and how you think it should be defined, executed and evolve over time. There’s no right or wrong answer but I’m curious to gain some insights into what everyone is thinking regarding this often vague and usually overlooked topic and to help educate everyone on the need for a solid online strategy before failing (not FALLING) into the “If I Build it They Will Come” abyss of the online world.
